  • research

On the website:

  • programmes and maps for self-education
  • a set of materials on each topic raised: videos, texts, links to primary sources
  • translations
  • articles
  •   programmes and results of research projects

How to use the self-study materials?

It is recommended that you not only watch the video, but also read all the material provided on the topic and discuss it with your classmates. Discussion allows you to see what you have read through different perspectives and is mutually enriching for everyone involved.

History of philosophy

We are doing material on a variety of topics, but the focus will be on the history of philosophy. The history of philosophy is a history of revolutionary shifts in ways of thinking, which allows us to see the development of that way of thinking itself. Learning to think should be done by following the course of reasoning in the best examples that humanity has left behind. This is particularly relevant nowadays. The current social environment is not conducive to moral and intellectual health, much less that thinking can be learned from life. Developed thinking is simply not necessary in order to adapt to the status quo in society, there is no experience of successfully fighting to transform such a situation.  We therefore propose, in condensed form, to go through the entire path that humanity has taken in developing a way of thinking to the level required to solve modern problems, including all the significant errors and dead-ends. We will get to know the problems in which modern dialectical logic has been honed. We will also learn to follow the course of thought, to identify the essential moments of thought in their necessary relationship, and to see how questions are posed and contradictions resolved. And we will learn to see behind any phraseology the actual content of a particular philosophy.
